Step It Up Dance
Step It Up Dance is an award-winning urban dance company based in Edinburgh, teaching a wide range of styles including Breakdance, Hip Hop and Acro Dance to tots to teens. Our team of qualified Dance Teachers deliver our unique brand of Urban Dance classes to thousands of children every week across Edinburgh. This Autumn term we are excited to announce that we will be bringing you a NEW hub of classes at North Merchiston Club on a Friday afternoon for children aged 18 months – 11 years. You can also find us in areas across Edinburgh including Stockbridge, Portobello, Musselburgh, Murrayfield, Comely Bank and more.

Edinburgh Dance Academy
EDA are delighted to announce that they will be opening brand new, purpose built, dance studios in the heart of Corstorphine later this summer!! EDA, recently voted highest ranked dance school in the UK and Ireland offers classes and exams in RAD Ballet, the faculty being led by RAD Ballet examiner Julie Mitchell.
We also offer classes in Commercial, Pre School Dance (for those little movers!), Jazz, Modern, Tap, Acro, Turns and Limbering, Progressing Ballet Technique, Contemporary (led by iD-Company examiner Jenni Inglis), Competition and much more! (Including performing each year at the King’s Panto) EDA recently represented Scotland in the Dance World Cup in Spain and we are very proud to have brought home a World Championship medal. We pride ourselves on our high standards and constantly apply ourselves to be the best but the most important thing is that all of our pupils are cared for, nurtured and have FUN!!

The Edinburgh Drawing School
Are you looking for something fun and creative for your kids to do outside of school hours? We have the answer!
The Edinburgh Drawing School offers a wide range of kids courses this Autumn Term, for kids ages 8 years up. With small, friendly classes, we pride ourselves on teaching kids all the basic tools of drawing in a relaxed yet focused environment.
There’s general, observational drawing classes for ages 8 – 14yrs, as well as Advanced Kids Draped Life courses for those slightly older kids (12 – 16yrs) who are taking their art a little more seriously. And for kids ages 16yrs up, we offer spaces in most of the adults courses including Beginners Painting, Illustration, and Drawing & Sketching in the City.
The School has two beautiful city center studios; most of the younger kids classes are held at our studio at 13a Great King Street, with the Advanced Kids Draped Life courses based in our new E.D.S Studio at 4 Thistle St Lane NW.
Autumn Term starts on Monday 17th September, so please contact us as soon as you can, to book your child’s place (or, if it’s you feeling creative – a place for you!).

Little Ninjas – Martial Arts and Kickboxing Classes for Kids
Little Ninjas offer exciting and fun age specific classes for children aged 4-9 years and 10-16.
The classes are designed by in house experts to provide children with specific life skills whilst being fun and exciting to train in. Classes are age specific taking into account children’s abilities, needs and learning. The Little Ninjas programme concentrate on skills including discipling, focus, co-ordination and balance. The programme was designed in the United States and is delivered by qualified coaches.
The Junior kickboxing classes teaches children similar values however, as they are older and their central nervous systems are different we can really start focussing on martial arts training fully. Children learn to stay safe and not become victims of bullying while learning new skills. Start your journey to becoming a Black Belt today.
